SARNISSA: History and Mission
The SARNISSA African Aquaculture network was set up originally in 2008 through a European Commission FP7 programme. Its aim: To join people working in African Aquaculture together across borders and languages by providing regularly updated online content : publications, videos , news media, employment and investment opportunities.
By September 2025 SARNISSA has over 8,000 people (from 47 African and 32 international countries) Following its daily updated multilingual Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/sarnissaafrica/ SARNISSA also runs English and French email discussion fora.
